The 七滝(nanadaru) of 河津(Kawazu) in 伊豆半島(Izu Peninsular). To me, they are the seven wonders of Izu because I'd never seen such beautiful waterfalls in my life. I know there are falls more majestic & dynamic than those here, but they're enough for me now. Looking at the torrents of clear, blue-green water swirling & crashing down ironically gives me a sort of peace - finding stillness in motion. I'm grateful to be able to witness the beauty & find joy from nature's gifts. And it didn't even cost me a cent - unless you count the cost of travelling there as a fee.
