Curse of the cold

I seriously think someone has put a curse on me for coming to Japan. I've been plagued with countless colds since I came!! :( In autumn, when I caught colds, they would say it's the sudden change from hot to cold weather. When my colds became worse in winter, they would say that influenza/colds are very common in winter. In spring, they would say that the pollen in the air does something to you. Now that it's summer and I still catch colds, people tell me that it's easy to catch a cold in summer!! What?? Ahhhh.....doesn't it mean the whole year then?!
