Definitely not fiery in terms of temperature now. I wonder why leaves turn red or yellow in autumn. There must be a very simple scientific reason, of course. Don't remember if we've ever learnt in in science class, as autumn foliage is unthinkable & unspeakable in Singapore.
My theory? The leaves light up in passion because they know their moment will be up soon and since they have to leave, they're going to do it in style!
Always reminded of the Korean drama, "Autumn Story" at such a sight...
