Yokohama - my second choice of placement on the JET program. I made the choice in Dec 2004 while applying for that program. I had no idea what Yokohama was like, but I remember someone (maybe my ex-Japanese boyfriend?) saying that it's a very nice place. And every time I go to Yokohama (my third time now), I'm always hit with a pang of not being able to live here. Would I be happier in Japan if I were not living in Tokyo, a place that I really detest except for the easy access to many things foreign & spoilt-for-choice shopping?
