Ugly duckling

I know they're swans (correct me, if I'm wrong), but my brain keeps forming the word, "duck", "duck", "duck" ...quack. Perhaps, the story of the ugly duckling is too deeply entrenched in my mind. But the story here ends on the contrary as beautiful swan has lost its glory & became the ugly duckling...thank god, I was never a swan to begin with. :0
