I've unjustifiably been called "matsuri onna" (festival lady) after I told a teacher that I went to the Kawagoe Festival. Truth is I haven't been to that many festivals. Unfortunately, I wasn't in the mood because I wasn't feeling well (am still not feeling that good..bleah). Guess the photos reflect my mood because they look like crap! No matter how many times I tried, they turned out blurry without the flash. I would have given a description of the festival in detail but I really just walked through the whole thing like a zombie and thus didn't soak in the atmosphere. Although I have to at least tell you that you're looking at a dashi, float. Helpful, huh? :0
