A bunch of monkeys!!

The 2 nensei are not humans. They are monkeys in disguise! They appal me with their unruly and disrespectful behaviour. Especially today, having gone back to work after 5 days of peace. Some of them were running, hitting each other and screaming their lungs out (even girls) during the elective English class too. I was so irritated with them that I was tempted to yell and throw a duster at them to get them to shut up. They're not 4 year olds. They're already 14.

Japanese schools let the students get away with too much. The discipline is so poor and their behaviour will never be tolerated in Singapore. It may be tolerated in the technical stream or low ranking schools. The Japanese teachers tolerate their inattentiveness, unwillingness to participate, talking, unnecessary movement & even delibrate means to disrupt the flow of the English class. Yet the students get yelled at for not saying "Shitsureshimasu/mashita" when they enter & leave the staff room or wearing any winter accessories into the staff room after school hours. My culture has its flaws too, but seriously sometimes I think the Japanese culture is so fucked up. They value their rigid customs & go by the book so much, but when it comes to decent behaviour at school they let it fly out the window.

The Japanese government should not only build schools. They should build human zoos too!
